Billy Eugene Ferguson

Baldwyn- Billy Eugene Ferguson, 90, went to meet his Loving Savior on Sunday, February 08, 2026 at the NMMC Hospice Unit. Billy was born September 15, 1935 in Marietta, MS to the late F. N. and Willodean Strickland Ferguson. He was a Christian and a member of Marietta Church of Christ. He retired from International Harvester in Memphis, TN and the tree trimming business. He loved being outdoors and spending time with his family.

Funeral services will be Tuesday, February 10, 2026 @ 4:00 p.m. at Waters Funeral Home with Bro. Ronnie Livingston officiating. Burial will be in Forrest Hill Cemetery in Memphis, TN.

He is survived by a son, David Ferguson (Cindy) of Summerville, TN; daughter-in-law, Joyce Ferguson, Michie, TN;(2) granddaughters, Jessica Beighley (Greg) Sharon, PA and Sarah Queen (John JR.), Lebanon, TN;(3)great-grandsons, Nathanael Beighley, Xander Beighley and John Queen III;(3)great-granddaughters, Izabela Queen, Payson Queen and Cadence Queen; (2) great-great-grandsons, Waylynn Beighley and Bashlin Beighley; special grandson, Jaden Ferguson; (6) step-grandsons; (1) step-granddaughter; (20)step-great-grandchildren; (5) step-great-great-grandchildren; sister, Cynthia Roberts (Jerry) of Baldwyn; host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends that he loved dearly.

He was preceded in death his wife of 54 years, Glenda Mae Haney Ferguson; his parents, F. N. “Snyder” and Willodean Ferguson; (2) sisters, Barbara Sue Reich (Elvis) and Marilyn Ferguson; great-grandson, Gavin Beighley; son, Tony Ferguson.

Pallbearers will be Greg Beighley, John Queens JR., Nathanael Beighley, Xander Beighley, Kevin Roberts and Collyn Roberts.

The family wants to thank the staff of Countrywood Manor for the care that Billy received during the last year and a half.

Visitation will be at Waters Funeral Home on Tuesday, from 3:00 – 4:00 p.m.
