Hope Elizabeth Hill

Mrs. Hope Elizabeth Williams Hill, 53, died Wednesday, February 11, 2026, at North MS Medical Center in Tupelo, MS. The funeral service will be Sunday, February 15, 2026, at 2:00 P.M. in the Chapel of Waller Funeral Home with Rev. Tony Baker officiating. Burial will follow in Christian Rest Cemetery. Visitation will be Saturday, February 14, 2026, from 4:00 P.M. until 6:00 P.M. in West Hall at Waller Funeral Home and again prior to the service beginning at 12:30 P.M.

Hope was born on August 13, 1972, in Pontotoc, MS to the late Wanzie and Joyce Ann Bishop Williams. She married her childhood sweetheart, Scott, and together they started a family and welcomed two boys, Jeffrey and Christopher. They were longtime and active members of The Sanctuary in New Albany where Hope taught the toddler’s Sunday school class. She was kind to the core and selfless to a fault, always willing to help others before herself. She adored her children and God children and cherished spending time with each of them. Hope was a wonderful wife to Scott for 38 years. In addition to her parents, Hope was preceded in death by her son, Jeffrey Hill and by her brother, Mark Williams.

Hope is survived by her loving husband, Scott Hill of Etta, MS; a son, Christopher Hill and his wife, Lizzi of Baton Rouge, LA; three God children, Bella McDaniel, J.C. Morrisson and Salem Morrisson as well as three grand cats.
