Booneville, Linda Nichols, age 82, passed away Thursday March 19,2026 at Longwood Manor nursing facility in Booneville. She worked as an LPN and enjoyed sister trips, playing cards, spending time with her family especially her grandchildren and she was a member of The Church of God.
Funeral services will be Tuesday March 24, 2026 at 2:00 p.m. at Waters Funeral Home with Bro. Chuck Boxx and Sister Lisa Pharr officiating. Burial will be in the Kirkville cemetery.
She is survived by her daughter Tina Kelton (Chuck), sisters Brenda Barnes, Cindy Bullock, Benita Scott (Mike), Grandchildren Stormie Kelton, Skye Kelton, Hayden Kelton, Great Grandchildren Breezie Steele and Demi Steele and a host of nieces, nephews’ other family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents Lee and Lillian Moore Boxx, her husband, Bobby Nichols, daughter Shelia Nichols Potts & Grizz, sisters Wilma Lee Lonney, Louise Boxx and Margaret Boxx, brothers Gene Boxx, Robert Boxx, Larry Boxx and Terry Boxx & Renae, brother-in-laws Ernest Barnes and Lyle Bullock.
Pallbearers include Kellen Fair, Payton Tapp, Jack Farris, Sam Taylor, Jt Hoard and James Dean.
Visitation will be Monday March 23, 2026 from 5:00-8:00 p.m. at Waters Funeral Home.
