Elaine ‘Mae” Pettigo Hines

Guntown- Elaine “Mae” Pettigo Hines, 79, passed away on Sunday, March 22, 2026 at the Sanctuary Hospice House. She enjoyed sewing cooking, watching westerns and she loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She retired from Luck Star Mfg. and she was a Baptist.

Funeral services will be held at Waters Funeral Home on Wednesday, March 25, 2026 @ noon with Bro. Acy Barber officiating. Burial will be in Campbelltown Cemetery.

She is survived by her son, Daniel Hines (Donna); grandchildren, Johnathan Hines (Katie) and Jessica Knight (Cory); great-grandchildren, Katy Mae Knight, Ethan Knight, Carson Hines, Noah Knight, Audrey Hines, Walker Hines, Gracie Knight and Rhylee Hines.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Dean Hines; parents, Billy Pettigo and Christine Floyd; three sisters.

Her grandchildren and great-grandchildren will serve as her pallbearers.

Visitation will be at Waters Funeral Home, Wednesday from 10:00 a. m until service time at noon.
