Mr. Daniel "Bo" Kitts, 77, of Memphis, TN, passed away February 22, 2020. A visitation will be held on Thursday, February 27, 2020 from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m., at Longview Heights Baptist Church (4501 Goodman Road, Olive Branch, MS 38654). A funeral service will immediately follow at 3:00 p.m., also at Longview Heights Baptist Church. Interment will be at West Tennessee State Veterans Cemetery at a later date. Coleman Funeral Home of Olive Branch is in charge of arrangements.

Daniel "Bo" Kitts was born on November 10, 1942, in Memphis. Mr. Kitts proudly served in the United States Air Force for twenty-six years. He loved his family and grandchildren and cherished the time he spent with them. Mr. Kitts loved his church family at Longview Heights Baptist Church and enjoyed serving as much as possible. He enjoyed playing a good game of golf. Mr. Kitts also enjoyed spending time with his very large extended family and life-long friends. He was a man who always stayed busy and was extremely good at working with his hands.

Mr. Kitts leaves behind his wife, Martha Kitts of Memphis; his daughter, Karen (Fred) Provence of Nesbit, MS; two grandsons, Dane Provence of Memphis, and Mark (Sarah) Provence of Southaven, MS; one great-grandson, Knox Provence of Southaven; one brother-in-law, Gilbert Parnell of Olive Branch; four nephews, Bobby (Leslie) Parnell and Mike (Pam) Parnell, both of Memphis, Dale (Amie) Stinson of MN, and Glen (Jeri) Stinson of NC; one niece, Brenda (Joey) Lunati of Memphis; a host of great-nieces and great-nephews; and a large extended family of friends.

Mr. Kitts was preceded in death by his parents, Lois Kitts and Dolph Kitts; one sister, Kathie Stinson; and one brother, Donald Kitts.

In honor of Mr. Daniel “Bo” Kitts’ service to our country, the flag of the United States Air Force will be flown at Coleman Funeral Home the day of the services.
