Kathryn Warrington

Kathryn Warrington, 71, Hernando -traded her sorrow for joy on January 6, 2019 at St. Francis Hospital in Memphis. Kathryn was born on June 2, 1948 in Bruce to the late William Arnold Todd and Edith Young Todd.

The Lord blessed Kathryn with a strong ability to care for others as she so often did, without complaint or hesitation just a smile. She lived to serve others which complemented her caring spirit. Kathryn also had a radiant smile and eyes that glistened. Though she faced much adversity and sorrow in her 71 years, Kathryn always handled life with much poise that never wavered or failed. She was a dedicated employee of Brookwood Furniture for over 35 years. Kathryn might have been sweet lady, but she was also instilled with a strong work ethic.

She departed from this world, leaving behind a loving family to cherish her angelic memory; Husband, Jerry Warrington of Hernando, Mississippi; loving daughter and devoted son- in- law. Donna(Shane)Stroup of Hernando, Mississippi; step- son and daughter in law, Tony(Shelly) Warrington of Georgia; grandson, Jordan Stroup; four step-grandchildren; two sisters-in- law, Becky Todd of Starkville, Mississippi and Bonnie Todd of Bruce, Mississippi.

Kathryn was preceded in death by her parents; William Arnold Todd and Edith Young Todd; husband, Larry Mills; two brothers, Larry and Leon Todd.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, January 8, 2020 from 12:00-2:00 PM at Pilgrims Rest Baptist Church. A funeral service remembering Kathryn’s life will take place Wednesday, January 8, 2020 at 2:00 PM in the sanctuary of Pilgrims Rest Baptist Church with Bro. Sam Yarbrough officiating. David Earl Edmondson, Max Nichols, Jimmy Pennington, Chris Pollan, Troy Todd, Gerald Young will serve the family as pallbearers. Kathryn will be laid to rest in Poplar springs Cemetery.
