Kevin “Biggon” McCormick

Kevin “Biggon” McCormick, 46, passed away, Sunday, March 3, 2019 at St. Francis Hospital in Memphis after a long illness. He was born October 9, 1972 in Bruce.  Biggon was a graduate of Bruce High School.  He was an avid deer hunter and fisherman. He enjoyed being with his family and friends, socializing and having a good time and having a good laugh.

He was preceded in death by grandparents, Ira and Clara Parker, Isom and Ruthie McCormick.

He is survived by his loving family his parents, John Ell and Vera Parker McCormick, Bruce; sister, Niki McCormick Hillhouse, Bruce; brother, Archie (Stacy) McCormick, Bruce; nieces and nephews, Connor McCormick, Colt McCormick, Jesse (Kaylyn) Hillhouse and Kylie Hillhouse.

Visitation will be Monday, March 4, 2019 from 4:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. Funeral service will be Tuesday, March 5, 2019 at 2:00P.M. with Bro. Darrell Logan officiating in the funeral home chapel. He will be laid to rest in Rocky Mount Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be John David Embry, Kennon Ferguson, Allen Jeffery, Bucky Lee, Chad Lee, Bryan Poteete, Shawn Snellings and Dean Thacker. Honorary Pallbearers will be Scott Cannon, Michael Cook, David Embry, Michael Landreth, Jeff Lee, Kadon Murphree, Kimmy Murphree, Tim McCormick, Michael Swanson, Richard Thacker and Pepper Watts.
