Ollie Lorene Smith, 80, of Hernando, MS. passed away Sunday, March 8, 2020. A visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 10, 2020 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Coleman Funeral Home (6815 Parkview Blvd, Olive Branch, MS). A funeral service will follow on Wednesday, March 11, 2020 at 10:00 a.m. in the chapel with burial at Twin Oaks Memorial Gardens (290 Goodman Road E, Southaven, MS). Coleman Funeral Home of Olive Branch is in charge of the arrangements.
Lorene Smith was born on May 20, 1939 in Woodland, MS. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Nesbit, MS. Lorene's career was in cosmetology. She especially loved spending time with her family and many friends. She enjoyed going to the casinos.
Ollie Lorene Smith is survived by her daughters, Lisa Ghettie and Judy Collins of Hernando, MS; son, Andy Ghettie of Hernando, MS; granddaughter, Candace Collins of Columbia, SC; grandsons, Dillon Collins of Collierville, TN and Lane Ghettie of Ft. Benning, GA; family friends, Sondra Tidwell of Ripley, MS and Janet O'Daniel of Southaven, MS.
Lorene Smith was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Ralph B. Smith; parents, Ollie D. and Willie G. Reese and son, Bruce Smith, II.
Donations and memorials in honor of Ollie Lorene Smith may be made to the First Baptist Church of Nesbit Youth Group.
