Mr. Roger Allen Fulgham, 73, passed away on December 11, 2019 at the Mississippi Veterans Home in Oxford. Roger was born on December 13, 1946, in Starkville, the son of the late Tandy Elwood and Dicie Harris Fulgham. Roger was a Veteran of the United States Army, having served during the Vietnam War. He was a truck driver for Royal Trucking and Ellis Steel for over 30 years. He liked to fish and was a custom jewelry maker. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister-in-law, Robbie Fulgham.
Visitation will be Saturday, December 14, 2019 from 12:00-2:00 PM at Calvert Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 2:00 PM from Calvert Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Aaron Parker officiating and assisted by Chaplain Fletcher Moorman. Burial will follow in Clarkson Cemetery in Mathiston. Calvert Funeral Home of West Point is honored to be entrusted with the arrangements.
Survivors include his three sisters: Ann Perkins (Jimmy) of West Point, Jeanne Parker (Aaron) of Laurel, Charlene Lindsey (James) of Sturgis and four brothers, Billy Fulgham of West Point, Rocky Fulgham (Sheila) of West Point, Phillip Fulgham (Peggy) of Southaven, and Tim Fulgham (Patricia) of Mathiston.
Pallbearers will be Chaplain Fletcher Moorman, Thomas Perkins, Lance Portera, Mark Stafford, Greg Merchant, Ronny Barnes, DeShawn Moucha, and members of The United States Army Honor Guard.
