Celebration of Life Service for Roger Jordan Day, 70, are set for 4pm Sunday at Memorial Funeral Home with Rev. Don Newton officiating. Burial will follow in the Oaks Hill Cemetery.
Family will receive friends Sunday from 2pm to service time.
Roger died February 20, 2020 at Cornerstone Health and Rehab. He was born May 8, 1949 in Union Co. MS. to the late Lamar and Mable Day. He was a 1968 graduate of Potts Camp High School, where he played basketball and received a scholarship to Northwest Community College. He served in the US Army during Vietnam War. He was a retired truck driver having worked for Merchant and Mid-South Transport for many years. He enjoyed riding motorcycles and spending time with his family.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Sarah Day; parents, and sister, Pam Day.
He is survived by his son, Brandon Day; daughter, Christian Molter (Roger); brother, Kenneth Day; sisters Charlotte Underwood and Terri Kitchens (Bill); grandchildren Cassandra Montgomery (Tommy), Heather Cornelius (Cody), and Toby Jolly (Destiny); several great grandchildren; nephew, Sam Underwood (Liz); sister-in-law Sydalia Palmer; brother-in-law, Roger Curtis; host of family and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorial may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project.
The flag at Memorial Funeral Home has been lowered at half-staff in honor of the service of Roger Day. to our country.
