A private family service for James Crow, 49, will be held Saturday at 1:00 pm at Union Baptist Church with Rev. Donald Pounders officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Mr. Crow died Wednesday, April 8, 2020 at his residence. He was a lifetime member of Union Baptist Church, a 1988 graduate of Kossuth High School and was employed at Columbia Gulf. He loved being outdoors, hunting, gardening and being with his grandchildren.
Survivors are his wife, Angie Stroupe Crow; mother, Joyce Crow; father, Ray Crow, Jr.; sister, Angela Hudson (Terry); step-daughter, Breanna Basden (Corey); step-son, Michael Stroupe; father-in-law, Donald Brock; nieces, Courtney Thacker (Bear); Hannah Hudson; great-nieces and nephews, Ty Buchanan, Riley Buchanan, Adilyn Meeks, Weston Thacker, Jaxton and Lyna Glidewell; step-grandchildren, Peyton and Hazlee Basden, Brayden and Harper Stroupe and a host of aunts and uncles.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents; Dock and Sue Rogers, Ray and Dixie Crow; an aunt, Lynette Crow; and a special cousin Dallas Crow.
Honorary pallbearers will be Tim Johnson, Terry Waldon, Marty Michael, Greg Ginn, D.C. Parvin, Justin Henry, Brad Mattox and Jimmy Voyles, Kossuth High School Class of 1988 and the past and present employees of Columbia Gulf.
