Sanford Dragoo (81) passed away Monday, April 20, 2020 at the NMMC Hospice Unit in Tupelo. He was a retired United States Navy veteran. He enjoyed fishing and hunting.
He is survived by two sons, Joseph Scott Dragoo of Booneville and Wayne Jernigan (Dorothy) of Fayette,AL; one daughter, Karen Jernigan of Pontotoc; (8) Grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas and Helen Dragoo; his wife; Marian Dragoo,(3) brothers, Sam, Sandy and Steve Dragoo and his sisters, Susan Howell, Shirley Sheward and Sarah Dragoo.
A graveside service will be 1:00 Wednesday at East Pleasant Ridge Cemetery with Bro. Rex Bullock officiating.
