TUPELO – Frances Elaine Bryant, 69, met her Creator on Wednesday, April 22, 2020 from Sanctuary Hospice House after a battle with Leukemia. Frances was born in Pontotoc County on December 14, 1950, the daughter of Jame Charles Bryant and Hattie Mae Christine High Bryant. She lived in Pontotoc, Union and Lee Counties most all her life. She graduated from East Union High School and received her Bachelor’s and Master’s Degree from the University of Mississippi. Frances had a working career in the field of Mental Health as a Professional Counselor. Her positions included tenures in Union and Pontotoc Counties as Youth Court Counselor. Frances was a positive force in many lives, especially children and she will be remembered as a kind encouraging soul.

Frances is survived by her son, Ian Bryant and his wife, Ginifer and their children: Anna Montgomery, Olivia, Emily and Isobel Bryant, all of the home in Tupelo; a sister, Janie Barton of Forrest, MS, and a brother, James Bryant of Eupora.
