Lela Mae Floyd

Lela Mae Floyd, 70, passed away Saturday, May 16, 2020, at Sanctuary Hospice House in Tupelo. She was born in Prentiss County on June 22, 1949, to Will Horn and Lear Jewell Griffith. She retired from Brown Shoe Company and was Pentecostal in faith. She loved her grandkids, flowers, and collecting porcelain dolls.
Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Tuesday, May 19, 2020, at the Booneville Funeral Home with Bro. Jerry Wallace officiating. Visitation will be Monday night from 5:00 until 8:00 PM. Burial will be in the Old Booneville Cemetery. Booneville Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
She is survived by her soulmate, David Dunagan; one son, Bobby Moore (fiance’, Latricia Mink); brothers, Ricky Griffith, Bobby Griffith, both of Booneville, Billy Joe Griffith (Michelle) of Florida, Tony Griffith (Sharon) of Booneville, and Richard Griffith of Booneville; sister, Edith Blaylock (Gerald) of Booneville; grandchildren, Amber Moore of Booneville, Kisha Moore Roseberry (Gary) of Corinth; and 5 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Cleston Floyd; and sister, Betty Caviness.
