James Neal Goode, age 76, died Tuesday, June 30, 2020, at his residence in Hamilton. He was born March 28, 1944, to John Monroe Goode and Gladys Eudora Stone Goode in Alabama. He was a lifelong resident of Monroe County where he was a graduate of Hamilton High School. He retired in road maintenance for MDOT. He attended Bartahatchie Baptist Church.
Survivors include two sons, Michael Goode (Renelda) of Grubb Springs, MS and James Russell Goode (Angela) of Bartahatchie, MS; one sister, Frances Easter (Buford) of Maggie Valley, North Carolina; two grandchildren; three Great Grandchildren; and two special friends, Alice Burns of Vernon, AL and Fred Edwards of Tupelo, MS. Preceded in death by his parents; one infant sister, one infant brother, and one sister, Marie Sykes.
