William “Ben” Parmer

November 3, 1991 ~ July 24, 2020 (age 28)

Saltillo-William Benjamin “Ben” Parmer, 28, died at the North Miss. Medical Center in Tupelo on July 24, 2020.  Born in Tupelo on November 3, 1991 to Clyde Marion Parmer, Jr. and Janice Whitten Sloan, Ben grew up here and lived here all his life.  He attended Tupelo Public Schools and Tupelo High School.  Ben worked various jobs including Toyota and was proudest of being a house dad to his 7 year old son, Jaxson.  Good with his hands, he enjoyed the outdoors, 4 wheeler riding, hunting and having fun with family and friends.  A practical jokester, he was a great guy to be friends with.

A service celebrating his life will be held at 11 AM Monday, July 27, 2020 at the Tupelo Chapel of Holland Funeral Directors.  Visitation will be from 9 AM-service time Monday only at Holland-Tupelo Chapel. For those who may be unable to attend, the service may be viewed via www.hollandfuneraldirectors.com/Livestreaming at 11 AM and be permanently archived thereafter.

Ben leaves behind his fiancé; Samantha Christopherson and their 7 year old son, Jaxson.  his mother, Janice Whitten Sloan, his father, Clyde Marion Parmer, Jr., a brother, Rusty Clement (Amber), a stepbrother, Matthew Sloan (Brooklyn), a stepsister, Alicia Gammons (Jimmy), aunts, uncles, cousins and a host of friends.
