Dear God,
Thank you for the birth of our mother, Ella
Jean Barnett (Tut) born to the union of the late
Annie Mae and Will Warren, Jr. on December
12, 1945.
She professed a hope in Christ at the age of
12 in 1957 and joined Mt. Zion Missionary
Baptist Church. Years later she joined Sand Hill
Missionary Church in December 2002.
Ella was united in Holy Wedlock to the late
Jimmy Ray Barnett on November 18, 1967 and
to this union two daughters were born, Kizzy
Barnett and Makeshia Wert.
The Angel of silence visited her on Monday,
August 3, 2020 at North Mississippi Medical
Center and returned her soul to God who gave
it. We realize that you always know what’s best
for us and how Lord we pray that you give us
the strength and courage to face the days ahead.
This prayer is shared by two daughters:
Kizzy (Rhyion) of Baldwyn and Makeshia
(Justin) Wert of West Virginia; three
grandchildren: Keontae, Ian, and Khloe; two
sisters: Ola (Thomas) Lytle, and Lavada
McGaha, all of Baldwyn, MS; one brother: Will
Warren, Jr. (Willie Jean) of Baldwyn, MS. She
had a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and
very special friends: Wanda Young, Kay
Dalrymple, Roberta Barnett, Catherine Smith,
