Teddie Wayne Wells

On March 29, 1942 Teddie Wayne Wells was born to
Johnnie Wells and Harriet Dixon Wells in Tupelo
Mississippi.
He attended George Washington Carver school where
he graduated the class of 1966, going on to attend Lane
College in Jackson Tennessee; after college he was
employed by Barber's Milk Company, Commercial heating
and Air, and his career path led him to establish his own
business as a HVAC technician.
He was married to MaLinda Sims Wells for 54 years
and from this union they have three children:Theodore
Alexander Sims Wells of Port St Lucie FL, Brenda
Lynette Wells Ezeani(Kingsley) of Tallahassee Fl, and
Nicholas Dewayne Wells of Tupelo Ms; seven
grandchildren: KeAndrea, Martavia ,Nicc, Brennen,
Erik, Dominick,and Decker; in addition, five great grand
children.
On Wednesday October 21, 2020 God called him
home,
He is survived by his wife & three children, three
sisters: Quida McDonald (William) of Grand Rapids
Michigan, Ernestine Metcalf and Patricia Wells of
Detroit Michigan, one brother ,William Wells (Ann) of
Chicago Illinois, and a host of nieces, and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, eight
brothers: Roosevelt, Benjamin, John, Charles, Floyd, Jay,
James, Bobby , and one sister Betty.
He was a joy to be around, full of laughter, and
always had a joke to tell, he will be missed by family,
friends; including his long time friends, Ed Depriest,
Milton Depriest, and Cornelius Rainey.
