Ava was born on May 23, 2015, in West Point, MS to Justin and Victoria Bailey. Her parents smile as they recall her feisty personality and sassy dance moves. She was full of life and innocently fearless. Ava was a social butterfly and loved being around the people she loved. Her outgoing personality and energetic spirit ensured she never met a stranger. She and her sisters enjoyed dancing and singing as they filled their home with the joyful sound of children. She knew every word to Frozen’s “Let It Go” and her family finds comfort knowing that she is singing and dancing in Heaven.
Ava is survived by her mom, Victoria Rene’e Coleman Bailey of Sturgis, MS; her dad, Justin Bailey of Oxford; her sisters, Lily Bailey and Harper Bailey; her grandmother, Wanda Crocker of Batesville, MS; her grandfather, Rodney Coleman and his wife, Rhonda of Bruce, MS and numerous cousins, aunts, uncles and friends. She was preceded in death by her grandmother, Kim Haire and her grandfather, Randy Bailey.
Memorial contributions in Ava’s memory may be made to New Prospect Baptist Church, 823 Hwy 334, Oxford, MS 38655.
