Ola Mae Moody

August 14, 1940 – January 20, 2021

Ola was the daughter of the late Doss and Laura Mae Hale of Enterprise, Mississippi.  She was a member of Macedonia Baptist Church. Ola enjoyed fishing, hunting, and working in her flower garden.  She was a devoted wife of fifty one years to the late Johnny Joe Moody, and a loving mother and sister to Dorothy Butler of Myrtle and Betty Harper of Blue Springs; mother of two sons, Donny Moody and wife, Minnie, of Myrtle, and David Moody of Thaxton; mother of two daughters, Eva Frazier and husband, Larry, of Myrtle, and Gloria Maxey and husband, Rickey, of Myrtle; a grandmother of nine grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by Johnny Joe Moody, her husband of fifty one years; by two sisters, Geneva Mardis and Dossie Hale; one granddaughter Kimberly Maxey; and one grandson, David Moody, Jr.

Mrs. Moody's funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 23, 2021, at 11:00 A. M. in the chapel of Glenfield Funeral Home, with Brother Mike Benefield officiating, followed by her burial in Enterprise Cemetery.  Pallbearers are Justin Grant, Aron Barton, Joseph Moody, Daniel Moody, Justin Nichols, and Ben Frazier.  Visitation will be held Friday, January 22, 2021, from 5:00 P. M. until 8:00 P. M.

Attendees are asked to follow CDC guidelines and wear masks and social distance.
