Clarence Milburn “Toby” Edwards

Clarence Milburn “Toby” Edwards, 86, passed away on Friday, January 29, 2021 at Landmark of Desoto Assisted Living and Rehab in Horn Lake, MS. He was born December 1, 1934 in Etta, MS to the late Roy and Lelia Tate Edwards. He was a U.S. Army veteran He was an avid gardener and enjoyed growing and canning his own vegetables. He was an outdoorsman, and enjoyed fishing and hunting; even in declining health, he enjoyed sitting and watching nature. He was strong in his faith and was a member of Union Hill Methodist Church. He was a good-hearted man and will be missed by his family and friends.
Funeral services will be at 2:00p.m. Sunday, January 31, 2021 at United Funeral Service with Bro. Dan Darling officiating. A visitation will be from 1:00p.m. until service time at the funeral home. Burial will be at Union Hill Cemetery.
He is survived by a daughter, Angela Yuksel (Sade) of Collierville, TN; a son, Bryan Edwards (Stacy) of Memphis, TN; two children, whom he loved like his own, Dana Tate of Tupelo, MS and Eric Tate of Byhalia, MS; a sister, Ruth Edwards of Bay St. Louis, MS; four grandchildren: Bryan James Edwards, Justin Drew Edwards, Kurt Michael Edwards and Eden Selver Yuksel; and by four great grandchildren.
