Edra V. Michael Kennedy, 89, died Thursday, June 24, 2021, at Mykales Assisted Living in New Albany. She was born September 9, 1931, in Sardis, MS., to Elmer Clyde and Elma Roaten Michael. She was a member of New Albany Presbyterian Church. She was retired from the banking industry and substitute teaching.
She is survived by 1 daughter: Valerie Leigh Kennedy; 1 son: Robert Winston Kennedy, Jr.; 2 grandchildren: Tabetha Simpson and Lucretia Rodgers; and 4 great-grandchildren: Nakota Blake Murphree, Riley Rodgers, Aiden Rodgers, and Katie Kennedy. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband: Robert Winston Kennedy; 1 grandson: Christopher B. Kennedy; and 1 brother: J. B. Michael.
