Mr. Jimmy Thomas Yeager, 67, transitioned on Friday, June 25, 2021 at his residence in Holly Springs.
Jimmy was born June 29, 1953. He was a devoted family man and proud trucker for over 49 years; he was fun, friendly, energetic, and hard working.
He loved hunting, drag racing, riding horses, his Harley Davidson, and spending time with his grandkids, who were his life. Jimmy left a lasting impression on everyone he met. He cared deeply for others and he will always be remembered for his generous heart, helping hand, smart mouth, and sense of humor.
His memory will be cherished by his beautiful bride of 48 years, Geneva Yeager; his only son Shawn P. Yeager, and two daughters, Joi Stewart (Duane) and Tina N. Johnson (Keith); seven grandchildren, Cody, Cory, Anna, Tyler, Austin, Adam, and Madison; three brothers, Ronnie, Rick, and Jim; two sisters, Pam and Sharon, and a host of nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.
His death is preceded by his parents, Jimmy Lee and Beatrice Yeager, and his sister, Lisa Ahrens.
Graveside Service will be held on Friday, July 2, 2021 at 2p.m., at Slayden Cemetery in Lamar, MS. Serenity-Autry Funeral Home of Holly Springs is in charge of the arrangements.
Visitation will be on Friday, July 2, 2021 from 11a.m., until 1p.m., at Serenity-Autry Funeral Home Chapel.
