Tommy "Wishbone" Edwin Gentry (66) passed away Tuesday, June 29, 2021 at North Alabama Medical Center. He was a truck driver. He enjoyed helping with projects, visiting with friends and mowing his grass.
Services are 11 am Saturday, July 3, 2021 in the Booneville Chapel of Kesler Funeral Home with Bro. Jack Whitley, Jr. officiating. Visitation will be 5-8 pm Friday, July 2, 2021 in the Booneville Chapel of Kesler Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Liberty Cemetery.
Tommy is survived by his son, Chuck Ross (Crystal) of Selmer; his daughters, Dottie Ross of Selmer and Nancy Plunk (Brad) of Memphis; his sister, Alice Whitley (Danny) of Booneville; his niece, Kelley Penny (Terry) of Booneville; his nephew, Jeremy Whitley of Booneville; his great-niece, Ava Carter; his uncle, Gerald Dodds (Nadine) of Booneville; his special friends, Dorothy Williams and Elaine Gladish of Selmer; his grandchildren, Ryder, Tyler & Hunter Ross, Megan Morton (William) and McKenzie Floyd and his great-grandchildren, Bristol, Hattie, Jaxon, Braden, Lanna Kate and Haven.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Kelly and Rachel Gentry and some close friends.
Honorary pallbearers are; Ronny Sappington, Bobby Griffith, Ronny Eaton, Mike Hare, Ralph Williams, Sammy McCreary, Barry Wriley, Robert Gladish, Sugar Daddy, Wolf, Ken Gray, Tim Sartain, Cowpatty, Hobo, Jail Bird, Joey Hughes, Johnny Duncan, Mud Puddel, Saddle Horse and many more.
