Humbert Clayton Robinson, Sr., 60, passed away Tuesday, September 14, 2021, at the VA Memorial Hospital in Memphis, TN. Humbert was born on June 25, 1961, to James Woodrow Robinson and Minnie Raye Gilley Robinson. He served his country in the United States Air Force. He loved racing, working on cars, and being a truck driver. Humbert retired from trucking.
Visitation will be Sunday, September 19, 2021, from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM in the Chapel of Booneville Funeral Home. Funeral service will follow at 2:00 PM at Booneville Funeral Home. A graveside service, with Military Honors, will be held immediately following funeral services, in the Jumpertown Cemetery. Booneville Funeral Home will be in charge of arrangements.
He is survived by two sons, Clayton Robinson of Biloxi, MS, and Kaleb Robinson (Hope) of Southaven, MS; daughter Dezirae Robinson of Southaven, MS; three brothers, Arthur Robinson of New Site, Gerald Robinson of Blackland, and Stanley Robinson (Katie) of Thrasher.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Ellis Robinson; and daughter, Kimberly Robinson.
Pallbearers will be Arthur Robinson, Gerald Robinson, Stanley Robinson, Wayne Robinson, Wesley Robinson and Kaleb Robinson.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Wounded Warrior Project, 4899 Belfort Road Suite 300, Jacksonville, FL 32256.
