Ora Lynn Christian Escorcia

February 2, 1966 – September 15, 2021

Aberdeen – Ora Lynn Christian Escorcia, 55, became completely healed and started her new life in Heaven on September 15, 2021. Born on February 28, 1966 in Rosedale, MS, she a daughter to the late Richard Lee Christian, Sr. and Mary Jane Davis Christian.

Lynn grew up in a large family and attended school in Stringer, MS. During her lifetime, she lived in both the south and moved to Michigan to work in the food service industry. Lynn loved to cook Southern food for Northerners and she made a good living providing great meals for others. She was an excellent cook and later in life moved back to Mississippi. She was of the Baptist faith, believed in God, and loved her family, especially her mama greatly. She was blessed by God with a best friend Savion, who stuck by her through thick and thin. They solved all the world’s problems together and built a strong bond through the years. Lynn enjoyed spending time with Savino, her family, and she was kind hearted and funny.

A woman with a giving heart, she often helped those in need. She loved to make others laugh, was jovial, and oftentimes would make funny faces at others to help raise their spirits. Another of her closest friends was her sister, Melissa. They spent many the days together, ate many meals together, and made great memories. Some of her favorite furry children were her Yorkie puppies, whom she raised from birth. Lynn liked to listen to Rascall Flatts and her favorite song was Bless the Broken Road. This song described exactly the story of her relationship with Savino. Lynn encouraged others through social media posts of videos, etc. and she was proud of all she had accomplished through life. Most of all, she loved her best friend and family greatly.

She will be missed dearly but those who loved her know that she is in a better place and at peace with God.

Left behind to treasure her memories is her loving best friend of 16 years, Savino Limon, Aberdeen; son whom she was a second mother to, Brandon Turner; grandchildren, Mary Jane Turner and Melissa Michelle Turner; sisters, Melissa Christian Delgado (Jesus), Aberdeen, and Barbara Kay Buras, West Virginia; brothers, Richard Lee Christian, Jr., (Michelle), Gonzales, LA, and Henry Dewayne Christian, LA; nieces and nephews, Aaron Buras, Mathew Buras, Shane Buras; Leann, timothy, Richard, and Samantha Christian.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Richard Lee Christian, Sr., and Mary Jane Davis Christian.
