Guntown – Hazel Raines passed away at the Baldwyn Nursing Facility on June 19, 2026. She enjoyed flowers, gospel music, watching the Atlanta Braves Baseball team and spending time with her family. She worked in Labor and Delivery at the NMMC for over 20 years until she retired and had owned and operated 3 restaurants Saltillo Fish & Steak, Hazel’s Place and Lake Lee Drive Inn. She was of the Baptist Faith.
Funeral services will be held at Waters Funeral Home on Monday June 22, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Tim Green Officiating. Burial will be in the Saltillo City Cemetery.
She is survived by 2 daughters Pam White (Jimmy) of Guntown and Sonya Hill-Witcher (Robby) of Saltillo, 1 sister Ann Taylor of Salillo, 1 Brother Larry “Tody” Webb of Baldwyn, 6 Grandchildren Cory White (Nina), Zack Hill (Maggie), Josh White (Mary), Casey White (Chasity), Adam Hill (Carmen) Chase Hill (Abby) and 14 Great-Grandchildren, Sister-in-law Jewl Webb, Special friend and father of Zach, Chase, Adam, Richard Hill and a host of other family and friends.
Her Grandsons will serve as the pallbearers.
She was preceded in death by her husband Jimmy Raines, parents Elzy and Myrtle Parker Webb and 2 brothers W.K. Webb and Mils Webb “Spud”.
Visitation will be held at Waters Funeral Home on Monday June 22, 2026 from 9:00 a.m. until service time at 11:00 a.m.
