Saltillo – Sarah Thrasher passed away at North Mississippi Medical Center on June 20, 2026. She worked at Air Cap/MTD Ind. for over 25 years. She enjoyed gardening, word search puzzles, working in her flower beds, cooking, genealogy research and spending time with her friends and family. She attended South Prentiss Missionary Baptist Church.
There will be no public service. Burial will be in Prentiss Memorial Garden.
She is survived by her husband of 57 years Jimmy Thrasher, 2 daughters Tandy Thrasher and Charman Thrasher, 1 sister Sammie Swinney,4 grandchildren Brent Thrasher, Amy Cummings (Kiefer), Emerald Adams, Dailyn Thrasher, 1 Great-Grandchild Jayden Adams and a host of other family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents Fisher and Mae Brown Stephens.
