Mack Reed Heavener
Baldwyn- Mack Reed Heavener, 83 passed away on Friday, July 17, 2026 at the Sanctuary Hospice House. He was a diesel mechanic before becoming disabled in 2000. He enjoyed wood working, reading, collection antique John Deere Tractors. He was a loving and devoted husband, father and grandfather. Mack was of the Baptist faith.
Graveside services will be held at Prentiss Memorial Garden Cemetery on Sunday, July 19, 2026 at 4:00 p. m. with Bro. Michael Shook officiating. Waters Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Linda Bullock Heavener of Baldwyn; son, Dennis Heavener (Tami) of Baldwyn; sister, Lottie Crownover (Bobby) of Loganville, GA; brother, George D. Heavener (Betty) of Kirkville; grandson, Cody Heavener (Mandi) of Tupelo; great-grandchild, Kip Heavener and another grandson arriving in October; host of other family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, George Ervin Heavener and Ethel Reynolds Heavener; siblings, RB Heavener, Bobby Wayne Heavener, Moviline Curtis and Glenda Hall.
