Mooreville- John Allen Sample, 64, passed away peacefully at his home on Tuesday, July 14, 2026. He enjoyed singing, writing songs, his dogs, fishing, skiing and spending time with his friends and family. He worked as a forklift driver for Mitchells Distribution. He was member of the St. James Catholic Church.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, July 17, 2026 @ 11:00 a.m. at Waters Funeral Home with
Bro. Phillip Carr and Colton Namie officiating. Burial will be in the Eggville Cemetery.
He is Survived by his special friend Letitia Ables of Auburn, 3 sisters Freda Mitchell (Mike) of Eggville, Melissa Ethridge (Bill) of Eggville, Terry Carpenter (Mark) of Mooreville and a host of nieces, nephews, other friends and family.
Pallbearers include Mathew Mitchell, Eric Ethridge, Walt Namie, Jimmy Myers, Mark Simpson and Connor Namie.
He was preceded in death by his parents John and Elora Laverne Brock.
Visitation will be at Waters Funeral Home Friday July 17,2026 from 10:00 until service time at 11:00 a.m.
