Anita K. Fudge Cox

Mrs. Anita K. Fudge Cox, 77, died Thursday, July 7, 2022, at My Kale’s Residential Living in New Albany, MS. The graveside service will be Thursday, July 14, 2022, at 9:00 A.M. at Shiloh Cemetery with Rev. David Shackleford officiating.

Mrs. Cox was born on August 20, 1944, in Memphis, TN to the late William and Mildred Fudge. She retired as a Teacher’s Assistant in Special Education for the Memphis City School District. Mrs. Cox had a love for traveling and exploring new areas and especially visiting family across the country. A loving and caring grandmother, she had the privilege of caring for, assisting with homeschooling, and running her grandkids to special events. Mrs. Cox saw the great value in this quality time spent with them in the car, laughing and sharing stories. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ronnie Thomas Cox and her son, Terry Nix.

Mrs. Cox is survived by her son, Richard Nix of Horn Lake, MS, Jessica Cox and her husband, Chris Osborne and grandkids, Robert, Willow and Dusti Cox-Osborne of Byhalia, MS.
