Beulah Mae Mitchell

Services to celebrate the life of Beulah Mae Mitchell, 90, will be held Tuesday at 10:00 am at Memorial Funeral Home with burial to follow in Magnolia Gardens. Rev. Merle Dixon and Rev. Tim Dixon will officiate the services. Visitation will be Monday evening at Memorial Funeral Home from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm.

Ms. Mitchell was born on May 3, 1932 and went to be with her heavenly father on July 31, 2022. She was welcomed to that eternal home by her mother, husband, brothers, sisters and so many others who have gone before her. She loved the Lord and her church family. She was a lifetime member of West Corinth Gospel Tabernacle Church and read her Bible through every year. She was known for her “Beulah Burgers”. She was quite the seamstress from patching pants to making baby quilts.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, James Fred Mitchell; parents, Ogle and Ethel Mitchell; brothers, Olen Mitchell, Junior Mitchell, William Mitchell and Lonnie Mitchell; sisters, Dorothy Mitchell and Martha Holloway; and a son-in-law, Dwaine Deaton.

Ms. Mitchell leaves behind to carry on her memory daughters, Betty Gant (Roger) of Corinth and Brenda Deaton of Michie, TN; son, Billy Mitchell (Sandy) of Kossuth; grandchildren, Jennifer Raburn (Tommy) of Michie, Jessica Stewart (Chris) of Selmer, and Bradley Barlow (Kristi) of Pickwick; great-grandkids, Jacy Raburn, Hailey Mae Raburn, Gianna Stewart, Aubree Stewart, Cash Barlow and Case Barlow; brothers, James Mitchell (Carol) of Corinth, Ronnie Mitchell (Barbara) and David Mitchell (Sandy) both of Illinois and a sister, Melba Hight (Jerry) of Michie.

Pallbearers will be Bradley Barlow, Chris Stewart, Doug Matthews, Todd Hight and Jimmy Mitchell.
