James "Don" Donald Dickerson

James "Don" Donald Dickerson, 82, of Corinth passed away August 16, 2022 in Charlotte, NC where he lived with his children since 2005. A memorial services officiated by Bro. Tommy Vinson will be held Sunday, September 4, 2022 at 3:00 pm at First Baptist Church in Corinth. Following the ceremony, there will be a family and friends visitation in the fellowship hall until 6:00 pm. Don will be interred at Box Chapel Cemetery in Corinth.

Don was born April 28, 1940 in McNairy County, TN. He retired from the Tennessee River Pulp and Paper Company and was a deacon at Oakland Baptist Church. He enjoyed boating, golfing and spending time with his family and friends.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Greta Ann Lassiter; his father, James Milton; and his mother, Lois Virginia Atkins.

Don is survived by his daughters, Ginger Dickerson (Kim Bohannon) and Amy Taylor (William); his son, Todd Dickerson (Kalis Egolf); his loving granddaughter, Olivia; brothers, Mike Dickerson (Susan) and Lyle Dickerson (Jane); and his sister, Becky Dickerson. Forever in his heart also remain his nephews, Scott Lassiter (Heather), Tom Dickerson (Melinda), Matt Dickerson (Monica), Chad Dickerson and Drew Dickerson (Angela); and nieces, Jill Clark (Chris) and Ellen Burkhalter.
