James Harold Williams

Dry Creek – James Harold Williams, 83, passed away on January 31, 2023 at the Tippah County Hospital. He was born to Johnny Franklin and Deli Viola Kent Williams in the 15th day of May in 1939. Harold was the youngest of 15 siblings. He attended Mt. Hebron Church in Dry Creek. He went to different area schools, but graduated from Baldwyn High School in 1959. He has a love for football and still enjoyed watching any game that was playing. He married the loved of his life, Jane Bartlett Williams and they had (3) daughters and one son, Debbie Massey, Tina Bryan, Johnny Mayo Williams and Cynthia Cissom. They also loved to hunt, fish and camp with family and friends. Harold was always ready to spend time with his family and friends, the ones near and far. He looked forward to spending time with his children, grands and great-grands. Harold loved his dogs, “Trixi” and “Sam”. He was retired from H & W Pipe, and he was a past member of Dry Creek Volunteer fire department.

Funeral services will be at waters Funeral Home on Friday, February 03, 2023 at 10:00 A. M. with Bro. Rex Bullock and Bro. Jonathan Soden officiating. Burial will be in the Baldwyn Masonic Cemetery.

He is survived by his daughter, Tina Bryan (Michael) and Cynthia Cissom (Lane); son-in-law, Gregg Massey; grandchildren, Justin Robinson ((Tabetha), Timothy Robinson (Lucinda), Chase Bryan (Chelsea), Haley Bryan, Jordan Wheatley, Shelby Cissom (Bobby) and Katie Melton (Cody); great-grandchildren, Summer Blades, Bo Robinson, Destani Robinson, MaKenzie Robinson, Lily-Clark Robinson, Cayden Gardner, Brantley Gardner, Everleigh Robinson, Olivia Massey, Jadyn Robinson, Aubree Robinson, Charlee Kate Robinson, Michael Blake Melton, Lorelai Thompson, Saige Bryan and Autumn Wilson; host of other family and friends.

Harold was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, his son, Johnny Mayo Williams and one daughter, Debbie Massey; grandson, Camdyn Bryan.

Pallbearers will be Justin Robinson, Timothy Robinson, Jordan Wheatley, Chase Bryan, Bobby Thompson and Cody Melton.

In lieu of flowers the family ask that donations be sent to the Jane Williams Memorial scholarship fund @ NEMCC.

Visitation will be at Waters Funeral Home, Thursday evening from 5:00 – 9:00 P. M.
