Eugene King

Eugene King, 76, of Michie, Tennessee passed away on Tuesday, April 18, 2023 at his residence surrounded by his family. A Celebration of Life Service will be held in his honor Thursday, April 20, 2023 at Memorial Funeral Home beginning at one o'clock in the afternoon with Pastor Thomas Shavers officiating. Family will accept friends from eleven o'clock in the morning until service time. There will also be a night visitation held Wednesday, April 19, 2023 at Memorial Funeral Home beginning at five o'clock in the afternoon until eight o'clock in the evening.

Eugene was born Monday, March 10,1947 to the late George and Mary Duncan King. He was a proud member of Brigman Hill Baptist Church. He loved to visit with people and never met a stranger. Eugene was an avid hunter, enjoyed the outdoors and loved racing, especially dirt track and drag racing. He was a dedicated family man who enjoyed watching his grandchildren play ball and family gatherings.

Mr. King was preceded in death by his parents; his son, Gene King; brothers, Vernon King, Willard King, Elbert King, Loyd King and Bobby Dean King; and two sisters, Laverne McEwen and Dorothy Capua.

Mr. King is survived by his wife, Beth King; daughters, Melissa King Bell (Tim), Sharon Lancaster (Michael), Mary Ann Willis and Amy Stover; a sister, Norma Sue Siddiqi; grandchildren, Matt Davis (Ashley), Tasha Carroll (Philip), Brent Carroll, Sarah Lancaster, Tyler English, Hunter English, Cameron Robertson and Jace King; six step-grandchildren; and three step-great grandchildren.
