Waldeen Harkey Hill
Baldwyn-Waldeen Harkey Hill, age 86 died Saturday April 29, 2023 at the Meadows in Fulton after an extended illness. She was a homemaker and loved keeping children. She enjoyed gardening, playing cards, dominoes, fishing and camping. She was a member of the East Pleasent Ridge Baptist Church and bunco ladies.
Services will be at 2 pm Wednesday May 3, 2023 at Waters Funeral Home with Bro. Greg Smart and Bro. Rex Bullock officiating. Burial will be in the Kirkville cemetery.
Survivors include 2 sons Ray Harkey & Lisa and Mike Harkey & Sherry a daughter Carra Lynn Powell & Ray all of Baldwyn, 6 grandchildren, Trey Powell & Katie, Jessica Tigner & John, Anna Brooke Porter & John Ryan, Joshua Harkey & Lizzy, Jake Powell and Jacob Harkey(Kelly). 7 great grandchildren, a sister, Janice Tarpley.
She was preceded in death by her first husband Wendell Harkey and her second husband Hovis Hill, her parents, Tice & Carra Coggins Bishop, 2 sisters, Manette Bedford & Charlene Bishop, 4 brothers, Joe Bishop, Herman Bishop, Harold Bishop and Herschel Bishop.
Pall Bearers will be Trey Powell, John Tigner, John Ryan Porter, Joshua Harkey, Jake Powell and Jacob Harkey.
Visitation will be Wednesday from 12 noon until service time at 2 pm.
The family would like to extend a special thanks to the caregivers who cared for our mother , Genny Pearson, the staff at the Meadows and Gentiva Hospice.
