Mona Faye (Todd) Davis

Mona Faye Davis, 82, of Ecru, joined her Lord and Savior on May 6, 2023.

Mona was born November 5,1940 to Q.T. and Mary Todd. She was a 1959 graduate of Ecru
High School.

Mona married her high school sweetheart, Bobby Davis, the summer of 1958. Together they
had two sons, Tracy and Neal. Together they enjoyed a life full of showing Western Pleasure
Quarter Horses. Mona spent many years working at the family business with her father at Q.T.
Todd Construction. She enjoyed the years she spent working for the Pontotoc Sheriff’s
Department and serving our county.

Mona Faye was known by everyone for her delicious cooking and always opening up her home
to feed anyone that came by. She was a friend to everyone who knew her. She was an active,
faithful member of Friendship Baptist Church. Her great grandchildren were truly her heart and
joy.

Mona is preceded in death by her parents Q.T. and Mary Todd, and her late husband, Bobby
Davis.

She leaves behind her two children, Tracy (Kay) Davis and Neal (Donna) Davis, two
grandchildren, Gage (Carly) Davis and Mallori (Evan) Corder, four great grandchildren, Evie Rae
and Cara Corder, Trace and Darby Davis, and a brother, Thomas Todd.

Services will be held Monday, May 8, 2023 at Friendship Baptist Church in Ecru. Bro. Buster
Wilson and Bro. Jason Davis will be officiating. Visitation will be from 12:00-2:00 with the funeral
following at 2:00. After the funeral, Mona will be interred at the Ecru Cemetery. Browning Funeral
Home in Pontotoc is honored to assist the family with the arrangements.

Pallbearers are Evan Corder, Shane Turk, Phil Sneed, Rickey Davis, Blake Davis, and Clay
Kidd.

The family requests that any donations please be made to Friendship Baptist Church.
