Dr. Richard Wayne Alexander

A gathering of family and friends for Dr. Richard Wayne Alexander will take place on Saturday July, 15, 2023 from 10:00 am until 11:30 am at Memorial Funeral Home.

Dr. Alexander went to his heavenly home on July 8, 2023 after a brief illness. He was born on November 25, 1964 in Davenport, Iowa. He was a 1983 graduate of Corinth High School and graduated in 1996 from the Cleveland University School of Chiropractic. He was the owner of Crossroads Chiropractic from 2006 until 2023. He was a member of First Baptist Church. He formerly taught at Adamsville Jr. and Sr. High School and was an instructor in Anatomy and Physiology at Jackson State University.

Dr. Alexander loved Ole Miss, music, sports, guns, the weather, a good eating place, practicing Chiropractic, but most of all he loved his family. In this tragedy we have come to know so much more about Richard. I don't even think he realized himself, the loyalty of the friends he made and kept for decades. The lives he touched and the love he poured out to his mother, was such a blessing; the legacy of an incredible man.

He is survived by his mother, Brenda Tedford; father, Dr. Floyd Wayne Alexander (Cathy); brothers, Nate Alexander (Sara Beth) and children Wells, Rory and Connor; Z.B. Alexander (Jessica) and children Hattie and Ellie; aunt, Ann Page Harrison; cousin, Shantay Winters (Kevin) and children Hawk and Sephia; and a host of other family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Laiford and Frances Messer; paternal grandparents, Floyd and Dee Alexander; and a step-father, Harold Wayne Tedford.

Fond memories and expressions of sympathy may be shared at www.memorialcorinth.com for the Alexander family.

Arrangements are under the care of Memorial Funeral Home.
