Mable Timbes

Mable Queen Hill Cole Timbes, 91, passed away Friday, August 4, 2023, at her home. She was born August 26, 1931, to Jack and Beatrice Hill. She was a supervisor for Masterson Manufacturing for 20+ years. She was a member of First Free Will Baptist Church in Booneville and the Eastern Star. She enjoyed reading, loaferin’, traveling, collecting angels and owls, and watching humming birds.

A Celebration of Life will be at 1:00 P.M. Monday, August 7, 2023, at McMillan Funeral Home with Bro. Steve Nichols and Bro. Ralph Stallings officiating. Burial will be in New Lebanon Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home.

She is survived by two daughters, Oneta Cole and Shirley Tabler (Billy); one brother, Jerry Hill (Melissa); five grandchildren, Dee Hare (Mike), Nathan Horn (Amelia), Rayne Gould, Cassie Tabler-Hernandez (Tanner) and Bronson Tabler (Kayla); four great-grandchildren, Lily, Cole, Bowen and Bailey; and by a host of other relatives.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Cecil Cole; her second husband, E.B. Timbes; her parents; one brother, Carl Hill; and one sister, Syble Wright.
