Matthew “Matt” Wilbanks

Matthew “Matt” Wilbanks, 35, died August 22, 2023 at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Oxford, MS. A family and friends gathering will be held Friday, August 25, 2023 from 10:00 am to 1:55 pm at Jesus Name Community Church, followed by a celebration of life at 2:00 pm at the church.

Matt was of the Pentecostal faith. He worked for “The Cleaner” cleaning services. He enjoyed wrestling, having gone by the name “Primetyme Nick Grymes”

His dad, C. D. Wilbanks, preceded him in death.

He is survived by his mom, Rickey Yearwood Wilbanks; his biological mother, Lisa Wilbanks Watts; his biological father, Jackie Hodge; brothers, Robert Wilbanks, James Wilbanks; sister, Jessica Wilbanks, Nicole Havis (John) and Brittany Hodge; and a host of other family and friends.
