Nettie Louise Langley, 86, passed away on Sunday, September 17, 2023, at Diversicare in Amory. She was born July 24, 1937, in the Evergreen Community of Itawamba County, to Bill Dugan and Gracie Lillian Davis Lesley. She was a member of the Richmond Pentecostal Church. She was a home maker. She enjoyed fishing and hunting.
Services will be at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, September 20, at the McNeece-Morris Funeral home Chapel in Mantachie with Minister Shane Ray officiating. Burial will be in the Dorsey Memorial Cemetery.
Survivors include two sons, Darrell Walton of Fulton and Marcus Newsom (Janessa) of Mantachie; five daughters, Sherry Hyde of Mooreville, Debbie Langley of Kirkville, Faye Dew (Wayne) of Mantachie, Joyce Singleton of Fulton, and Misty Langley (Mark) of Mantachie; two stepsons, Bobby Langley (Ann) of Fulton and David Plunkett of Tennessee; two stepdaughters, Betty Kemp (Terry) of Arkansas and Nellie Ray (Ricky) of Peppertown; one sister, Linda Blankenship; six grandchildren; eighteen great grandchildren; two great -great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Troy Langley; three brothers, Russell Langley, and twin brothers, Truman and Treman Lesley; one sister, Frances Strop; a brother-in-law, Richard Blankenship; one grandson, Shelby Anderson; and her parents.
Pallbearers will be Marcus Newsom, Preston Langley, Bill Smith, Camron Newsom, Dawson Newsom, and Carson Newsom.
Honorary pallbearers will be William Smith, Kennen Smith, Richard Kilgo, and Mark Langley.
Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until service time Wednesday, September 20, at the McNeece-Morris Funeral Home in Mantachie.
