Larry Thomas Dennis

FULTON – Larry Thomas Dennis, 72, passed away on Friday, December 8, 2023, at the North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo. He was born December 1, 1951, in Tupelo, to George Thomas Dennis and Lottie Mae Enlow Dennis. He was a member of the Fulton Church of Christ. He graduated from IAHS and then from Mississippi State University in 1973 with a Bachelor of Science degree. He worked at Alcoa Fujikura LTD as a Senior Project Engineer, during which time he traveled to several different countries including Germany, Ireland, and Mexico. After he retired, he enjoyed visiting historical sites and learning about different types of ancient architecture. He loved his family very much and enjoyed spending time with them. His hobbies included flying drones, watching television, and cuddling with his dogs, Otis, Pee Wee and April.

Services will be at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, December 12, at the McNeece-Morris Funeral Home Chapel in Fulton with Minister Jerry Grammer officiating. Dayton Wilson will deliver the eulogy. Burial will be in the Union Grove Cemetery.

Survivors include one sister, Linda Smith; one niece, Charlotte Johnson (Joe); one nephew, Stacy Smith (Nellie); a host of great nieces and nephews, cousins, and wonderful friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and his grandparents, Lola Enlow and Curtis Dennis.

Pallbearers will be Marty Christian, J.C. Enlow, Delbert Williams, Joey Osbirn and Dale Lesley.

Benny Enlow will be an honorary pallbearer.

Visitation will be Tuesday from 11:00 a.m. until service time at the McNeece-Morris Funeral Home in Fulton.
