Greg Jackson Wall, 57, of Sturgis, MS, passed away on December 19, 2023. Born on March 15, 1966, in Fort Benning, GA, Greg was a beloved husband, father, and outdoorsman.
Greg enjoyed a fulfilling 32-year career with Helena Agri. He was dedicated to his work and found great satisfaction in his professional accomplishments.
Greg is survived by his loving wife, Susan Shedd Wall, his son Clinton Tanner Wall (Bailey Cook Wall), and his cherished granddaughter Charleston Cate Wall and son Colin Shedd Wall. He is also survived by his mother, Paula Wall McGee, and his brother, Eric Tanner Wall (Amber Mabry Wall), nieces and nephews Preston James Wall, Jackson Tanner Wall, William Eric Wall, Mary Catherine Chambers Britton (Jackson), Caroline Grace Chambers, and brother in law Scott Chambers.
Greg was preceded in death by his father, Dr. Preston J. Wall, and his sister, Emma Wall Chambers.
Greg was a member of Morgan Chapel Baptist Church, where he found solace and strength in his faith. He cherished the community and fellowship he found there.
Outside of his professional life, Greg was an avid outdoorsman, Georgia football fan and devoted father and grandfather.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm, at Welch Funeral Home. Funeral services will take place on Friday morning at 10:00 am at Morgan Chapel Baptist Church.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made in Greg’s memory to the Catch A Dream Foundation, an organization that grants outdoor-related wishes to children with life-threatening illnesses.
The compassionate staff at Welch Funeral Home in Starkville, MS, is assisting the family with the funeral arrangements.
