Edna Mae Tedder Gray, 79, of Vardaman, MS, departed from this life on Monday, March 18, 2024, at North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo, MS. She was born on November 02, 1944, in Vardaman, MS to the late George Edward Tedder and Ruby Dean Langford Tedder.
Edna will be remembered for her dedicated service as a secretary across various companies. In her quiet moments, Edna found solace in the simple joys of life, particularly in completing puzzles and socializing on Facebook. Her fondness for collecting angels and dolls spoke of her gentle spirit and appreciation for beauty in all forms. Edna was a member of Midway Baptist Church.
She leaves behind two daughters: Amy (Johnny) Sansing of Houston; Michelle Johnson of Vardaman; one son: Danny (Jackie) Suggs of Houston; brother, Lee (Karen) Edward Tedder of Vardaman; two grandchildren: Chad Suggs and Cody Sansing. Great-grandchild, Olivia Cate Sansing.
She is preceded in death by her parents, George Edward Tedder and Ruby Dean Langford Tedder; brother, Junior Lee Tedder.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, March 21, 2024, from 1:00 P.M. until 3:00 P.M. at Parker Memorial Funeral Home in Vardaman. The service honoring Edna's life will take place on Thursday, March 21, 2024, at 3:00 P.M. in the chapel of Parker Memorial Funeral Home in Vardaman with Bro. Fred Hartley and Bro. Anthony Dean officiating. Mitchell Johnson, Randall Langford, Jerry McClain, Robert McClain, Chris Smith, Danny Tedder, George Ike Tedder, and Jonathon Tedder will carry Edna to rest in Midway Cemetery. Cody Sansing, Chad Suggs, and Len Price will serve as honorary pallbearers.
