Eloise Moss Wilson
Hills Chapel Community- Eloise Wilson, 91, passed away on Tuesday, April 30, 2024 at the Landmark Nursing Facility in Booneville. She was born October 17, 1932 to the late Chester and Luna Rogers Moss. She worked for Sears in Chicago, IL for several years. After moving back to Booneville she taught pre-school for 34 years. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends. She liked to read, do word search puzzles, sew and grow flowers. She was a Baptist and attended Martin Hill Baptist Church.
Funeral services will be at Waters Funeral Home on Thursday, May 02, 2024 at 4:00 p. m. with Bro. DeWayne Morgan officiating. Burial will be in Little Brown Cemetery in New Site.
Survivors include a son, Donald Wilson of the home; daughter, Cathy Wilson Chaffin of Marietta; one very special grandson, Wilson Paul Chaffin of Marietta; one sister, Harriet Davis of St. Charles, MO; sister-in-law, Mauvoline Mayo of Booneville; special nephew, Steve Moss of Corinth.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Douglas Wilson; brother, Max Ray Moss; sister, Annie Mae Tidwell; brothers-in-law, Leon Tidwell, B. C. Davis and Richard Mayo.
Visitation will be Thursday at Waters Funeral Home from 2:00 – 4:00 p. m.
