Kenneth Michael “Mike” McMinn, 69, died May 19, 2024 at the North Mississippi Medical Center-Eupora.
Visitation will be held for friends and family on Saturday, May 25th at Self Creek Baptist Church from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Graveside services will follow at 2:00 p.m. at Clear Springs Primitive Baptist Church in Maben. Welch Funeral Home of Starkville will be in charge of arrangements.
Mike was born to the late Shannon Kenneth McMinn and the late Helen Elaine Norwood McMinn. He was a talented carpenter and spent most of his life working self-employed in construction. He was an avid hunter and fisherman and loved taking his grandchildren and teaching them the sports.
He is survived by his sweet loving companion of 25 years, Cheri Dewberry, his children, Emily McMinn, Haley Woodard (R.J.), and Kristi McMinn all of Florida, Brandon Dewberry (Connie), Amber White (Daniel), Miranda Andrews (Derrick), and Heather McCool (Drake). He is also survived by his sister Jennifer McMinn Kilpatrick of Starkville and Paul McMinn of North Carolina. He has twenty grandchildren and one great grandchild.
