Margie S. Lease
Blue Springs – Margie S. Lease, passed away on Friday, June 14, 2024 at the NMMC. Margie enjoyed attending the Columbus Pig Fest and being a member of the Pilot’s Club and the Civitan’s Club. She loved nature, life and spending time with her family and her three dogs.
She retired from WCBI and was a member of Pleasant Valley United Methodist Church.
Funeral services will be at Waters Funeral Home on Tuesday, June 18, 2024 at 2;00 p. m. with Pastor Sims Meredith officiating. Burial will be in Zion Hill Cemetery.
She is survived by her daughter, Jennifer Swann Dickerson of the Camp Creek Community; son, Roger Lee Lease (Melissa Brewer) of Fulton; sister, Ruby Nell Swann Surratt of Blair Community; grandchildren, Christy Hawkins (Chris), Tara Beasley (Steven), Kayla Beasley, Adrianna Bullock (Evan) and Anna Grace Lease; great-grandchildren, Jenna Nicholson (Austin), Carlin McDonald (Jordan), Emily Hawkins, Brantley Mask, Madisyn Beasley, Kaylee Beasley, Miles Beasley, Emma Beasley, Paislei Fulks, Kaiden Bullock and Alison Grace Lease; great-great-grandchildren, Eli Hawkins, Charlie Nicholson, Raynee McDonald, Reed McDonald and Beckett McDonald; nieces and nephews, Hal Swann (Cindy), Mimi Swann Blanchard (Phillip), Larry Swann, Dawn Swann, Joseph Swann (Missy) and Shane Swann (Jennifer); host of other family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Cleborn and Ruby Roberts Swann; two brothers, Everett Swann and Lamar Swann; nephew, Marty Swann.
Visitation will be at Waters Funeral Home on Tuesday from 1:00 p. m. until service time @ 2:00 p. m.
