Darlene Newell
Ozark – Darlene Newell, 64, passed away on June 29, 2024 at the NMMC. She was a factory worker and she enjoyed painting, crocheting and shopping. She was a member of Ozark Baptist Church.
Funeral services will be at Waters Funeral Home on Tuesday, July 02, 2024 at 12:00 p. m. with Bro. Henry Jenkins and Bro. Gregg Johnson officiating. Burial will be in Ozark Cemetery.
She is survived by her partner, Jimmy Hendrix; (2) sons., Brandon Newell (Nikki) and Brent Newell; sister- in-law, Angelia Newell; brother-in-law, Kerry Newell; (2) grandchildren, Amelia Newell and Brenna Newell; special niece, Jessica Matthews (Daniel); great-niece, Harper Matthews; (2) cousins, Joe Spencer and Nellie Ashley Moore; host of other family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert Covington and Ruth Emerson; her husband, Kermett Newell.
Pallbearers will be Dennis Lesley, Billy Hendrix, Joe Spencer, Brady McCoy, Jason Farquhar, Ricky Hendrix, Chris Stacy, Chris Horton, Scotty Pounds and Bobby Alan McCoy.
Visitation will be at Waters Funeral Home on Tuesday from 10:00 until service time at noon.
