Hazel Maxine Hendrick

January 25, 1947 – August 15, 2024

Fulton – Mrs. Hazel Maxine Hendrick, age 77, passed away Wednesday, August 15, 2024, at Select Specialty Hospital in Panama City Beach, Florida, while visiting with her family.  She was born January 25, 1947, in Itawamba County, Mississippi to the marital union of Harvey Clifford Cummings and Maxine Pearson Cummings.  Hazel earned a master’s degree in nursing and worked many years as a Nurse Practitioner employed by Magnolia Regional Hospital.  She also enjoyed serving in other areas of the country as a traveling Nurse Practitioner.  She enjoyed shopping and loved to travel.

A celebration of life service will be at 2:00 p.m., Monday, August 19, 2024, at the McNeece-Morris Funeral Home Chapel in Fulton with Bro. Joseph Jones officiating.  Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. to service time.  Private burial will follow at Itawamba Memorial Gardens, Fulton, MS.

Survivors include her two daughters, Kim Pendley (Tim) of Panama City, FL, and Leah Davis of Saltillo; two sisters, Helen Taylor and Linda Moore (Jerry), all of Fulton.  She also leaves behind six grandchildren, Richie Beam, Tessa Aldridge, Kassidy Clardy, Brennan Davis, Bekah Pendley and Gracie Pendley; and seven great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Hendrick; one brother, Harvey Wayne Cummings; and her parents.

Pallbearers will be Jody Channell, Brody Channell, Jonathan Aldridge, Aaron Clardy, Tony Taylor, and Joe Moore.
