Birmingham Ridge Community- Billy J. Brown, 71, passed away at his home on Monday, August 19, 2024. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, riding four wheelers and was a member of Cedar Hill Fire Dept. He was a diesel mechanic and a member of Camp Creek Baptist Church.
Funeral services will be held at Waters Funeral Home on Friday, August 23, 2024 @ 2:00 p.m. with Bro. Chad. Higgins officiating. Burial will be in Camp Creek Cemetery.
He is survived by his wife of 28 years, Ruth Shackelford Brown of Saltillo; step-daughter, Shawna Loden of Guntown; sons, Nicholas Floyd Brown (Terri) of Tremont and Dan Brown of Mooreville; sister, Betty Meeks (Peyton) of Guntown; brother, James David Brown of Guntown; (7) grandchildren, Jessie Brown, Tommy Brown, Amber Gasaway, Marina Loden, Nash Loden, Dustyn Loden, Magen Nunley; (6) great-grandchildren, Alex Nunley, Reagan Gasaway, Onna Gasaway, Isabella Gasaway, Eleria Loden and Aubrielle Loden; host of other family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Floyd and Dorothy Harrelson Brown.
Pallbearers will be Jack Davis, Jessie Brown, Austin Gasaway, Kolton Williamson, Randy Greenwood, Ryan Brown and Dencil Johnston.
Visitation will be at Waters Funeral Home on Thursday evening from 5:00 – 8:00 p. m.
